Before you start terminating international voice traffic, it is important to decide on the locations, that is, physical location where you pace your equipment. This is a very important point - both, from your safety and from performance point of view. We will tell you about the best places to locate VoIP equipment, regardless of the country.
It is the GSM gateway that performs illegal "work" - converts international VoIP calls to local GSM calls, thereby allowing them to be charged at local tariffs. It is recommended to locate gateways in crowded places where a lot of voice traffic is concentrated, that is, where people constantly make calls by mobiles. This will prevent the enhanced GSM signal of multi-antenna GSM gateways from being tracked and will allow you to "beat back" the maximum number of calls. It is recommended to choose sleeping areas, shopping malls, areas near railway stations, business centers, etc. as locations for placing gsm gateway pbx, i.e. places where many people gather together.
Under no circumstances, place the gateways in locations where you are! The physical location of the gateways can be determined by enhanced signal and if you are near, you may have problems with the law. Also, if you have a large number of channels, we do not recommend placing a large number of equipment in one location. The channels will be overloaded, which will negatively affect the efficiency of termination, plus the Internet speed may not be sufficient (for each gateway port it is necessary to provide a speed of 42 Kbps).
SIM-bank is in fact a “box” where all your SIM-cards participating in terminations will be stored. Through a special software (SIM-server), you can remotely control the gateways, virtually loading/unloading the cards from slots. Therefore, the SIM-bank should be near you, it is completely safe, it can not be used to detected your location, unlike in a situation when the gateways are in the immediate vicinity from you.
We wish you a happy termination!
