Aruba: Digicel tariff plans for termination

The mobile sector is well developed on the island of Aruba and the average rate is $0.13 per minute of conversation. The leader of the cellular services market is Digicel Aruba, which offers many advantageous plans for prepaid customers. For good earning on termination, you need to choose a suitable tariff plan for outgoing calls.

A Digicel SIM-card in Aruba costs about $4, while the subscriber immediately receives 25 minutes for outgoing calls, 25 SMS and 25 Mb of mobile Internet traffic. The standard calling tariff for prepaid customers is very high - $0.45 per minute and about $0.2 per minute at night. But there are profitable offers covered by two ranges:

  • Quick Pick Bundles. It includes three tariff plans: 30 days, 7 days, 1 day. The 30 days plan is calculated for one month, it is unlimited within the network for $33. The 7 days plan is calculated for one week, it is unlimited within the network for $15.6. The 1 days plan is calculated for one day, it is unlimited within the network for $3.6.

  • All in One Plan. It includes three plans: 1 days, 7 days, 30 day. The first one is unlimited within the network for one day, the cost of connection is $4.4. The second one is unlimited within the network for one week, the cost of connection is $16. The third one is unlimited within the network for one month, the cost of connection is $44.

The above ranges of offers also differ in the amount of Internet traffic provided to the subscriber. From the point of view of GSM termination, the best choice for gsm link gateway operation is the Quick Pick Bundle 1 day plan. With this plan, a minute of call will cost about $0.01 (for the termination of 5 hours a day). Thus, the terminator will be able to get a profit of $400 and more (from each port of equipment).
