GSM termination for “dummies”: why you need a SIM server

corporate

To organize a profitable GSM termination business, each entrepreneur will require specialized software. First, you need a server software so that you can receive voice VoIP traffic for subsequent conversion to GSM. Equally important is to have a SIM server - software that allows you to remotely control VoIP GSM gateways.

Migration of SIM cards

Remote control of equipment allows you to perform rotation and migration of SIM-cards, which is necessary to simulate human behavior. It is known that for the detection of termination, cellular operators use "Humanity parameters", which include the number of calls made by the subscriber, his movement around the city, sending messages, etc. Controlling the gateways remotely, using SIM-bank and SIM-server, the terminator can realistically simulate his movement around the city. This is migration of SIM cards. Entrepreneur virtually rearranges the cards from one gateway to another, which is located in another physical location.

Rotation of SIM cards

SIM-cards rotation is a slightly different process that can be performed using a SIM server. Each slot of SIM-box is linked to a specific gateway slot. Thus, by changing the cards in the SIM-bank, the terminator swaps their locations in the gateway as well. To implement rotation, the SIM cards can be grouped together and assigned certain time frames for operation of each card in one channel. By rearranging the cards between the channels in turns, you evenly distribute the voice traffic between them and thereby divert the suspicions of GSM-operators from yourselves.

Other SIM server functions

SIM-server allows you to perform other useful actions - for example, make calls between sim cards according to a set schedule, send SMS messages, etc. In any case, it is an indispensable tool for simulating human behavior in GSM networks, which allows you to mask subscriber numbers from vigilant antifraud systems.
