Telecel is the smallest mobile operator in Zimbabwe. Its GSM coverage is slightly worse than that of the two competitors, but still at a good level. Telecel has inexpensive prepaid SIM cards and low rates for outgoing calls, so its starting plans can be successfully used for beneficial voice traffic termination.
Telecel's prepaid SIM cards can be found at brand stores and from street vendors. The cost of one starting package is about 50 cents. Scratch-cards to top-up the balance can also be bought in the street. Telecel's prepaid offer is called Telecel Go.
The operator offers its customers several tariff plans that provide bonuses for calls, sending SMS and using Internet data. For calls termination, the Go Cross-Net Voice Bundles offer is the most suited. Th range includes a total number of four packages:
- $1. For one dollar, the subscriber receives 10 minutes for calls to any networks valid for 24 hours.
- $2. For two dollars, the subscriber receives 20 minutes for calls to any networks valid for 48 hours.
- $5. For five dollars, the subscriber receives 50 minutes for calls to any networks valid for 72 hours.
- $10. For ten dollars, the subscriber receives 100 minutes for calls to any networks valid for 5 days.
For the voip gateway router to operate effectively, the optimal package to choose would be Go Cross-Net Voice Bundle $ 10. With this package, the cost of an outgoing call will be $0.1 per minute. The income of the gateway owner will be at least $100 from one port of the device (if the equipment is running for 100 minutes a day).
