Zambia: profitable Zamtel packages for GSM termination

africa

Zamtel is the third largest mobile operator in Zambia owning 16% of the market. It has good coverage throughout the country. To use Zamtel SIM-cards for profitable traffic termination, you need to choose the most suiting tariff plan.

Zamtel starting plans at operator’s stores and other retail outlets cost only $0.3. The sellers who offer SIM cards in the streets require higher price. Also, the entrepreneur has to negotiate with the seller on whether to issue the bought cards in other people's names, or to purchase the packages registered to someone else right away. Otherwise, the SIM-cards will be quickly blocked by the operator, as required by the law on mandatory registration. Top-up scratch cards are sold all over the country.

Zamtel’s standard outgoing calling rates are as follows: $0.063 per minute to all national numbers during the Peak period; $0.048 per minute for calls within the network and $0.063 per minute for calls to other networks per Off-Peak hour.

You can also take advantage of various offers for prepaid subscribers. They include:
